Last updated: June 26, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how 360 Vid Inc., operating as 360 Vid Virtual Tours ("360 Vid", "we", "us"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit 360vid.ca or contact us about our 360 photo virtual tour services. We are based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and we handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy law.
This document is provided for transparency and is a working draft. It is not legal advice. We recommend you have it reviewed by qualified legal counsel before relying on it.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you use our "Scope your tour" form, call us, or email us, we collect the details you choose to provide, such as your name, organization, email address, phone number, and information about your facilities and project.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the site we collect limited technical and usage information, including pages viewed, referring links, device and browser type, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. We use Google Analytics 4 for traffic measurement, Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use our pages (which may capture de-identified recordings of page interactions such as clicks and scrolling), and Microsoft Advertising to measure advertising performance. When you call one of our numbers, our telephone provider may record the call for quality and training and log the time and duration; we will indicate this at the start of the call. These tools use cookies and similar technologies.
We do not knowingly collect any special categories of sensitive personal information through this website, and we ask that you not send us such information through our forms.
2. How we use information
- To respond to your enquiries and prepare a scoped quote
- To provide, deliver, host, and improve our services
- To understand how our site is used and improve our marketing
- To maintain the security and integrity of our site and business
- To meet legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations
3. Legal basis and consent
We collect, use, and disclose personal information with your consent, or as otherwise permitted or required by law. By submitting a form or contacting us, you consent to the handling of your information as described here. You may withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal and contractual limits, by contacting us using the details below.
4. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, such as analytics, call-tracking, and hosting providers, and only as needed to perform their services under appropriate confidentiality and data-handling obligations. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transaction.
5. Data location and residency
Our website is hosted in Canada. Some service providers, including certain analytics tools, may process information outside Canada, where it may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions. For client facility imagery and virtual tours, we offer Canadian data residency, and for security-sensitive clients we offer an air-gapped, on-premise, no-cloud delivery that keeps that content entirely within the client's environment. Client tour content is governed by the applicable services agreement, not this website policy.
6. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies for analytics and call attribution. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity) are enabled by default to help us understand and improve the site; you can opt out at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the footer, or through your browser settings. Advertising cookies (Microsoft Advertising) stay off unless you turn them on. Disabling cookies may affect how parts of the site function.
7. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, to meet our legal and contractual obligations, and then we securely delete or de-identify it.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to its use. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will respond within the timelines required by law.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Third-party links
Our site may link to third-party sites, such as our sister companies or Google. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites; please review their policies.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a revised "Last updated" date.
